3D ANImation/modeling

self-portrait

to represent myself I wanted to have a model that corresponded to me a man with stars in his eyes when he touches creation and who is excited to be able to experiment and create projects of all kinds a cartoonish self portrait for the creation of complete universes high in color and radiant.

youtube character

I've been wanting to create content about what I do and experience in my studies or my personal projects for quite some time now, and one day an idea came to me: if I want to create content about what I do, then I just have to show it directly, and that's how the idea of creating a 3d avatar was born. I then asked myself what could represent me and turned to my lifelong inspiration, my dog!

showreel character

for our end of year showreel i decided to create this character like a retro video game avatar who represents me to get through the year and all the trials it entails represented by the different projects i chose a low poly style to stick with the retro atmosphere because it's an aesthetic that's familiar to me and that corresponds to me i love it.

the fisherman

I created this character because the modern low poly aesthetic appealed to me a lot, so I set to work to create this sympathetic little fisherman with a very cartoonish aesthetic.

sculpting head

to practice sculpting on 3D software, I was able to hollow out, stretch and contract a sphere to gradually obtain a blank face, to which I then added the colors and textures that compose it. it was my first sculpting on 3D software, and certainly not my last.

the watch

this project is both creative and technical, combining many aspects of 3D software, and I started it to discover a program I'd never touched before, maya.

the porch abandon

Following one of my many whims, I set myself the task of recreating in 3D a vintage 911 porch, following the plans to the letter, but well... as always, my personal projects are often unfinished, then one day when I fell back into despair, I told myself that I couldn't leave it like that again! To symbolize this loss, I created a small environment around it, where the light is scarce and where the vegetation has taken over, as if to show the state in which I've left it all this time.

cosy interior

my very first real 3D project in a modern, simplistic low-poly style, I created the interior of a small hut that fits into the universe of many of my drawings, with a warm but rudimentary interior, an exotic and unique universe.

dark vador mask

for the end-of-year project, i was asked to create one of the most important scenes in the film. this scene from the film illustrates the point of no return reached by the main character in this film and his transformation to the dark side.

year-end generic

here's the test we took at the end of our 2nd year of study, a group test in which we were asked to create a generic from the film of our choice, in this case star wars.

with the help of Thaïs Piatek, Martin Joille, Tristan Cortésie, Elodie Ben and Naïm Zadhour, we created this generic, each with its own scene.

the squirrel

I animated this squirrel-practiced tour in a cartoon style with a lot of elasticity in the character and greater explosiveness in the movements.

convertible car

I created this car with an original design inspired by the old bmw cars with a vintage style and a convertible that reinforces the old look.

bouncing balls

animating the bouncing ball is a basic exercise that introduces us to many aspects of animation, both 2D and 3D, but above all to the software controller.

bob jumper

the jump is an animated exercise that teaches us the different mechanics of the body although the model only has legs there are many body mechanisms to understand such as weight distribution balancing and other inherent things such as the roll of the feet and many others

lighter

a lighter that I modeled and animated myself to apply my rebound learning to practice my skills
